Build-able installed LVT click flooring in Gullane, East Lothian, replacing old carpet in the rooms and connecting hallway. Completed in September 2026, the project created a coordinated wood-effect finish. The before-and-after photographs and video below show the transformation.
LVT stands for luxury vinyl tile. For this project, warm-toned, wood-effect planks replaced the beige carpet shown in the before photographs. The finished walkthrough shows the new flooring across the open floor areas, doorways and hallway.
LVT click flooring in Gullane: before and after
The original carpet ran through the rooms and circulation areas. With the spaces empty, the before photographs clearly show the starting point: a soft, neutral floor covering with visible wear and furniture marks.
The new LVT click flooring brings a different character to the interior. Its wood-effect grain and variation in tone complement the light walls and white joinery, while the plank layout gives the floor a more defined appearance.
A coordinated look through the hallway
A flooring change is especially noticeable where several rooms meet. In this Gullane home, the new finish continues through the connecting hallway, creating a coordinated look as you move between spaces.
